BAKING DEMO ELMER CHOCOLATE IN TBK YEYE – PONDOK KELAPA, JAKARTA

The baking demo this time was held in the Pondok Kelapa area, precisely at TBK Yeye. The event which took place on Thursday 23 January 2020 was attended by 29 participants, dominated by 27 female participants and 2 male participants. The event was hosted by Chef Cheeko, assisted by assistants Brian and Raja. During the six-hour demo, Chef Cheeko practiced the making of Ombre Matcha Cream, Purple Sweet Potato, Trinitario Puding, Brownies Donut Melt, and Bakpia Kukus.

The event started with the introduction of the Elmer Chocolate team, followed by the introduction of Elmer Chocolate products ranging from couverture series, compound series to Bakerline series. The participants actively asked questions when the team explained the products. Participants tried to explore more information about Elmer Chocolate products, such as the difference between dip donut and dip glaze, the difference between each Cake Emulsifier SP MAXI, and the difference between spread and crunchy spread. Elmer's team did not hesitate to share tips on making chocolate modeling, choosing the right cocoa powder, tempering and blooming chocolate, as well as tips on using various sizes of baking sheets in making brownies.

The event continued with the making of one recipe after another that had been scheduled to be made. Every step of making processed chocolate products is explained well and clearly. Participants pay close attention and ask Chef Cheeko questions directly if something is not understood. The event was not only filled with serious things, but also filled with jokes that invited laughter. In addition, the event that took place gave participants the opportunity to get door prizes and product tastings. Finally, the event was closed with a group photo and farewell at 16.00.
